South Bossier Parish will again host the annual KTBS Freedom Fest, celebrating God and country. This massive Fourth of July fireworks display has become a northwest Louisiana staple for family entertainment. It will mark the second year for the event to be held at the park, located on Caplis Sligo Rd, approximately one mile south of Sligo Rd. Join in as we celebrate faith, hope, and patriotism.
This will be our Serve Day for July. We have the privilege of being one of the title sponsors, and we will need all hands on deck. We will provide the Family Area, enabling us to engage with the community. The Worship Team has been asked to provide music for the evening. We will have our bounce houses for the kids and will be monitoring the water stations around the area.
Itinerary:
3:00 pm - depart with trailers from church
4:00 pm - everyone arrives at the Park to begin set-up
5:00 pm - Open Road Worship Team
5:00 pm - 8:30 pm - mingle and engage with the community
9:30 pm - FIREWORKS
10:00 PM - Tear down and reload trailers
10:30pm - return to church
