Plantation Park Candy Drive

Halloween is coming and that means it is time to hang out with the kids. Open Road Fellowship has adopted all of the Kindergarten classes at Plantation Park Elementary as part of our commitment to connecting with our community. Throughout the year, we get the opportunity to head over and hang out with the kids, and this will be our first opportunity of the year to meet and interact with them. If you have never had the opportunity to participate in our activities at Plantation Park, you are missing out on a true blessing! So, from now until October 27th, we will be collecting individually wrapped candy to provide a Halloween treat for the kids. Let's start bringing in candy and plan on giving the kids a major "sugar overload!" As always, you can also drop off your candy at On The Road Coffee Co. (next to Pepe's).

Monday, October 28th @ 6:00 pm, we will get together and bag up the candy, maybe eat a piece or two, and take a moment to pray over the kids we eventually will deliver them to. Then plan on joining us as we head over and party! Ride your motorcycle if you can as the kids love it when we show up on the bikes.

HERE'S THE PLAN

  • Candy Collection: October 2nd - October 27th
  • Candy Drop-off: Church Foyer or On The Road Coffee Co.
  • Halloween Bag Packing Party: Monday, October 28th @ 6:00 pm
  • Candy Delivery to Plantation Park: Thursday, October 31st @ 1:30 pm

[we will meet in Wal-Mart's parking lot (behind Sonic) at 1:00 - 1:15 pm and head over as a group]

Come As You Are - Sundays at 10 am
